Treasury Director

BDO Jordan Academy is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Director to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing treasury functions, developing treasury strategies, and overseeing the implementation of new digital banking technologies.

• Manage Treasury Functions: Collaborate with stakeholders and the finance team to ensure effective treasury operations.
• Develop Treasury Strategy: Create and implement policies, procedures, and frameworks to minimize foreign exchange risks and optimize cash management.
• Implement Digital Banking Technologies: Oversee the adoption of new technologies to improve treasury functions and simplify organizational operations.
• Foreign Exchange Management: Develop and maintain a framework to minimize the impact of foreign exchange risks.
• Return on FX Cash Positions: Work to enhance the return on the group's FX cash positions.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and manage financial risks related to interest rates and currency fluctuations.
• Forecasting and Planning: Forecast FX cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and funds available for investment.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly inputs to consolidated reporting packages and participate in cross-functional efforts to improve reporting, planning, and analysis capabilities.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in treasury management, financial planning, and risk management. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.
