Laundry Porter Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Porter to join our team at Accor. As a Laundry Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our linens and uniforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Laundry Operations: Pick up and deliver linens, staff uniforms, and town contracts linen at scheduled times.
  • Assist Laundry Team: Assist the Washperson and Laundry Attendants as required to maintain a smooth laundry operation.
  • Housekeeping Support: Provide and deliver clean linen to the Housekeeping and Food & Beverage departments.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Report necessary maintenance items and adhere to the hotel's vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid Alberta driver's license is required.
  • Physical Condition: Excellent physical condition is required to perform the duties of the role.
  • Previous Experience: Previous housekeeping or laundry experience is an asset.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills are required to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
