About the Role

DIGIC Pictures, a renowned 20-year-old animation studio, is seeking a skilled Senior Matte Painter to collaborate with our team on future projects. As a freelancer, you will have the opportunity to work on high-quality AAA projects, leveraging your expertise in creating photorealistic and stylized Matte Paintings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-end Matte Paintings for DIGIC's animated films
  • Collaborate closely with Art Directors and Project Leads to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements
  • Proven ability to draw and paint with precision and creativity
  • Expert proficiency in Photoshop and Nuke
  • Experience in Full CG or VFX production environments
  • Legal ability to work as a freelancer
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in creating 3D environment art
  • Proficiency in modeling, texturing, and shading
  • Familiarity with Maya and Clarisse iFX
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
