Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Counsellor to join our team. As a counsellor, you will provide psychological support and guidance to personnel working in diverse geographic locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counselling sessions remotely and in-person.
  • Analyze records and prepare comprehensive reports to ensure the provision of cohesive counselling services.
  • Design and deliver workshops, trainings, and information sessions on mental health topics.
  • Support managers to create a psychologically healthy workplace by developing policies and guidelines.
  • Proactively monitor environmental factors that could lead to stress or burnout.

Requirements:

  • Advanced University Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or Psychiatry.
  • Professional Certificates: Registration/License as a mental health professional is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in individual and group counselling, with demonstrated experience working independently.
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating data and identifying relevant findings.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing counselling in the Arab States region and crisis and fragile field locations.
  • Experience and familiarity with the UN system and procedures.

Working Hours: 80-100%
