Job Title: Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Specialist

Banyan Global is seeking a highly skilled Gender Equity and Social Inclusion Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical direction and strategic oversight of all Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI) standalone and cross-cutting interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • GESI Strategy Development: Revising the GESI Strategy in coordination with local and home office teams.
  • Technical Support: Providing technical support for achieving, tracking, and measuring GESI-focused indicators.
  • Training and Capacity-Building: Managing technical quality control for all assigned areas of GESI training and capacity-building related work.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Ensuring collaboration and coordination across all functions and components of ERA to implement as one team.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Contributing to project quarterly reports, annual work plans, and other project reports and deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in economics, development, or a related field, or comparable level of experience.
  • Experience: At least five (5) years of expertise in gender equality, women's empowerment, and social inclusion, with experience in economic/business context preferred.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, planning, management, and communication skills, with written and verbal fluency in English and Arabic required.
