We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to join our team at Kempinski Hotel Amman. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property.
Key Responsibilities- Security Department Planning and Organization
Develop and implement effective security plans and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the hotel and its guests.
Contingency PlanningDevelop and approve contingency plans for all areas of security, including fire, bomb threat, access control, and other potential risks.
Security Staff SupervisionSupervise and train security staff to ensure they are equipped to handle emergency situations and maintain a high level of security awareness.
24-Hour Security CoverageEnsure that 24-hour security coverage is provided throughout the hotel, including regular security rounds and patrols.
Local Laws and RegulationsEnsure that all security staff are aware of and comply with all local laws and regulations related to security and safety.
Emergency Response TeamPlay an active role as a member of the hotel's Emergency Response Team and participate in regular drills and training exercises.
Access Control and Key ControlImplement effective access control and key control systems to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive areas of the hotel.
Investigations and ReportingConduct thorough investigations into any security incidents or breaches and report findings to management.
Surveillance and MonitoringEnsure that all surveillance equipment is operated and maintained according to standards and that regular checks are conducted to ensure that systems are functioning properly.
Training and DevelopmentProvide regular training and development opportunities for security staff to ensure they are equipped to handle emerging security threats and risks.
Communication and LiaisonEstablish and maintain effective communication and liaison with local authorities, including the police and other emergency services.
Compliance and Risk ManagementEnsure that all security procedures and protocols are compliant with Kempinski company policies and that risk management strategies are in place to mitigate potential security risks.
Requirements- Education and Qualifications
A degree in a relevant field, such as security management or a related field, and a professional certification in security management.
ExperienceA minimum of 5 years of experience in a security management role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
Technical SkillsProficiency in security software and systems, including access control and surveillance systems.
