Job Description

At Canonical, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for handling inbound customer queries via email, telephone, and chat, as well as setting up and executing outbound sales and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Handle inbound customer queries via email, telephone, and chat to provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Sales and Marketing Campaigns: Set up and execute outbound sales and marketing campaigns to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Travel and Events: Travel to events and conferences around the world to present at stands and work on face-to-face marketing and sales opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple teams and senior stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on potential customers to identify new business opportunities.
  • Campaign Collaboration: Collaborate directly with the marketing team on campaigns to drive business growth.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Generate a multi-million pound sales pipeline through effective sales and marketing efforts.
  • Market Trends and Insights: Identify prospects and market trends to inform business decisions.
  • Process and Policy Development: Help define processes and policies for the team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Account Management: Maintain contact with new and existing customers, set up and attend meetings, and actively map accounts to identify new opportunities.
