Ideal Pastry Commis Wanted

We are seeking an ambitious and highly skilled Pastry Commis to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for baking and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the senior pastry chefs in preparing and cooking high-quality pastries, cakes and desserts. This includes:

1. Preparing ingredients and equipment according to standard recipes and guidelines
2. Assisting with the preparation and presentation of all menu items
3. Working closely with other members of the kitchen team to ensure seamless service
4. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience in a pastry or bakery environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
