Senior Corporate Operations Executive - Supply Chain Expert

Job Overview

Aramex is seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Operations Executive to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts using statistical models and data analysis techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models and data analysis techniques.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Account managers, and Commercial teams to gather relevant information for demand forecasting, such as promotions, product launches, and market trends.
  • Analysis: Analyze demand patterns, sales trends, and market dynamics to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate demand forecasts, inbound status, and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve forecasting accuracy through the identification and implementation of process enhancements and technological tools.
  • Insights: Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide insights on demand planning.
  • External Factors: Monitor and assess the impact of external factors, such as economic conditions and regulatory changes, on demand patterns.
  • Forecast Deviations: Analyze and address demand forecast deviations by investigating root causes and proposing corrective actions.
  • Financial Alignment: Work closely with finance teams to ensure demand forecasts align with budgetary goals and financial projections.
  • Technology: Collaborate with IT teams to enhance and implement demand planning software tools and technologies.
  • Long-term Planning: Support the development of long-term demand plans and capacity utilization strategies.

Requirements

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings effectively.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Good knowledge of statistical forecasting methods, such as time series analysis, regression analysis, and causal modeling.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
  • Organization: Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving: Problem-solving mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Time Management: Efficiently managing your time and prioritizing tasks is crucial to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
  • Education: BSc Degree in Industrial Engineer or Logistics Business related.
  • Experience: 2+ years of Experience in Forecasting, Demand & Supply planning, or a related field.
  • Certifications: CSCP, CLTD, and master's degree are an advantage for Leader Position.
