Electrical Power Production Operations Manager

At V2X Inc, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Power Production Operations Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Site Manager - Electrical Power Generation, you will be responsible for managing personnel, resources, and activities devoted to the electrical power production operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage personnel, resources, and activities devoted to the electrical power production operation.
  • Act as Site Manager upon absence.
  • Have knowledge of principles of electronics and electricity, including generation, conversion, transformation, distribution, and utilization.
  • Meet with government customer as needed.
  • Accomplish inspection and status reports with diagnosis, estimated timeline for repair actions, and list of required parts upon discovery of deficiency.
  • Maintain and adhere to applicable technical orders and good commercial practices for all maintenance actions.
  • Provide written reports of hourly peak demand and fuel consumption, inspections, maintenance, repairs, tests, and certifications of each system or component as required.
  • Work in a high-paced environment, multitasking and working with a sense of urgency to complete tasks safely, effectively, and efficiently.
  • Follow a comprehensive quality and safety program in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA, and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements.
  • Follow a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter, and trash in all working facilities and areas.
  • Properly utilize and safeguard all government and contractor-provided property.
  • Precise company time reporting procedures and accurately complete timesheets.
Requirements:
  • Work will be primarily indoors but may be outdoors to support various events.
  • Exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, chemicals may occur.
  • Overtime and shift work may be required depending on contractual needs.
  • Comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulations and published Company work rules as well as written instructions.
  • Task-specific work environment training will be provided as required.
  • Be prepared to function in a wartime environment to support U.S. interests.
  • 100% Overseas Assignment.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Must be a Licensed Electrician.
  • Must have and maintain a valid U.S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.
  • Must have a current, valid U.S. Passport.
  • Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License and be able to drive with a manual transmission.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.
  • Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.
Experience:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in electrical power production operations/electrical power generation field.
Preferred Experience:
  • Military experience in a contingency environment and knowledge and experience working with government contracts preferred.
Knowledge Base:
  • Must have an excellent understanding of all safety directives and policies regarding the operation of electronic equipment.
  • Candidates must successfully complete both online and hands-on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) defense training.
Skills:
  • Fluent in English with good verbal, reading, and writing skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
  • Exercise discretion and good sound judgment.
  • Able and willing to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements.
Software:
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
