We are seeking a highly skilled Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to join our team at the Jordan River Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring activities and tracking of indicators for up to 3 projects, ensuring high quality of assistance/services and continual learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data collection methodologies and tools to ensure detailed and accurate data.
  • Conduct participatory monitoring activities using a variety of tools, including assessment monitoring, participatory monitoring activities, general satisfaction monitoring, and change monitoring.
  • Collect and analyze qualitative data, including conducting focus group discussions and key informant interviews.
  • Ensure accurate and high-quality data during collection, entry, and upload.
  • Perform data cleaning and analysis, and maintain data quality logs and preliminary analysis.
  • Undertake field monitoring visits to ensure quality implementation, data collection, and performance of partner CBOs.
  • Support the development of data collection methodologies and tools, and test new tools using Kobo.
  • Translate monitoring data to facilitate analysis and contribute to final reports.
  • Identify and refer individuals with special needs, protection concerns, and problems with JRF services.
  • Ensure timely reporting on monitoring activities in line with work plans and project timelines.
  • Provide regular feedback on field observations and monitoring findings to the MEL Supervisor and relevant program staff.
  • Build and maintain good working relations and collaboration with staff/departments.
  • Assist in capturing and feeding into institutional learning by contributing best practices and lessons learned from ongoing MEL activities and/or projects' activities.
  • Follow up on regular data collection through implementing partners (CBOs) and ensure quality of data by random verifications and validations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as monitoring and evaluation, statistics, or social sciences.
  • At least 2 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, data collection, and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis software.
