Maintenance Supervisor

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and tools, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.

* Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.

* Identify and locate shut-off valves to prevent accidents and minimize downtime.

* Order and stock parts and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked inventory.

* Maintain accurate records of inventory and purchase orders to ensure efficient ordering and stocking.

* Inspect tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.

* Operate power lifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.

* Complete life safety checklists, including fire-pump run tests and generator run tests, to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

* Inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly.

* Assist in the development of disaster response protocols to ensure a safe and effective response in emergency situations.

* Respond to guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.

* Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.

* Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, and report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.

* Complete safety training and certifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.

**Requirements**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

* 2+ years of experience in maintenance or facilities operations.

* Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
