About the Role

Crossover is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team as an instructor. As a key member of our instructional staff, you will be responsible for teaching daily live code-alongs, providing learner support, and contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging live code-alongs, using real-life examples and exercises to explain complex concepts
  • Provide personalized support to learners, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals
  • Collaborate with the curriculum team to develop and refine our web development curriculum
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating new knowledge into your teaching and curriculum contributions
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on web development
  • Proven experience in teaching or mentoring, with a passion for sharing knowledge and expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information in a clear and engaging manner
  • Availability to teach at 9 AM, 2 PM, 3 PM, and/or 6 PM PST
  • Reliable internet connection with a minimum upload speed of 6 Mbps
Nice-to-Have Requirements
  • Experience with web servers, RDBMS, and Web APIs
  • Knowledge of React, Redux, and HTTP/Ajax
