Database Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our team at BluLogix. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Development: Develop and maintain high-quality database solutions using Oracle Database 12.2 and higher.
  • SQL and PL/SQL Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, with the ability to write efficient and optimized code.
  • Database Administration: Ensure the smooth operation of our database systems, including backup and recovery procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize database requirements.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as SVN and GIT.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development.
  • 2+ years of experience with Oracle Database release 12.2 and higher.
  • Proven work experience as a Database developer.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related.
