Job Title: Senior Back-end DeveloperWe are seeking a skilled Senior Software Architect to lead the design and development of our back-end systems.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with server-side technologies, programming languages, and databases.A strong understanding of application security principles, best practices, and cloud platforms is essential.
  • Design and Implement Scalable Back-end Systems: Using technologies like Python, Java, or Ruby, you will create robust and efficient back-end architectures that power our web applications.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and Integrate with Front-end Components: You will work on developing seamless data exchange between front-end components and server-side logic.
  • Optimize Existing Back-end Systems: You will improve performance, security, and scalability by analyzing and optimizing existing systems.
  • Collaborate with Front-end Developers: You will work closely with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Monitor System Health, Performance, and Security: You will use logging, debugging, and proactive troubleshooting to maintain system health.
  • Participate in Code Reviews and Mentor Junior Developers: You will participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers to promote best coding practices.
  • Stay Up-to-date with Emerging Technologies: You will continuously update your knowledge of emerging technologies and trends to improve back-end development processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in back-end development with a strong focus on server-side technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Ruby.
  • Strong experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and knowledge of database management systems.
  • Familiarity with API development, including RESTful and GraphQL services.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of application security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with an emphasis on mentoring and sharing knowledge.
