As a Manufacturing Services Manager at JTI Japan Tobacco International, you will be responsible for planning and executing manufacturing processes to ensure optimal stock levels, timely availability, and delivery dates are met.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for production materials planning, finished goods planning, and new product introductions.
  • Collaborate with global functions, including Global Planning, GBS, and R&D, to ensure overall strategic plans and company standards are met.
  • Investigate and recommend improved manufacturing processes, procedures, and cost reductions.
  • Ensure procurement activities are aligned with JTI operating guidelines, procedures, and code of conduct.
  • Manage warehousing activities, including goods receipt, internal handling, and stock takes.
  • Coordinate customer service and logistics, ensuring high customer service levels and transparency with all customers and GBS.
  • Implement policies for quality, productivity, delivery, and operating costs.
  • Plan Manufacturing Services budget and headcount in line with company goals and strategic plans.
  • Recruit, motivate, and guide the professional development of the team.
  • Ensure all Manufacturing Services related activities comply with legal requirements, JTI Policies and Procedures, JTI Code of Conduct, and local Process Management procedures.
  • Understand health and safety hazards and risks relevant to the department, function, or process.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example.
  • Demonstrate servant leadership and utilize IWS knowledge to build team capabilities.
  • Ensure JSOX controls are executed in the department and keep relevant documentation.
