About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Engineer to join our team at Braintrust. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient microservices and APIs using Python.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Microservices: You will be responsible for designing and developing data, generative AI, and machine learning-enabled microservices and their integration with front-end applications.
  • Own Back-end Code and APIs: You will own the back-end code and APIs for AI products currently being worked on and new products to come.
  • Define Serverless Architectures: You will define extensible and flexible serverless architectures to facilitate rapid iteration on product concepts.
  • Integrate and Process Data: You will integrate and process data from a variety of structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Maintain Code Base: You will maintain the code base, making fixes and improvements as needed.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Professional Experience: You must have at least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Advanced Python Skills: You must have advanced Python skills and experience with Microsoft Azure (or AWS/GCP).
  • SOA and Serverless Experience: You must have experience with SOA architecture (ideally microservices) and serverless.
  • SQL, Spark, and NoSQL Experience: You must have experience with SQL, Spark, or PySpark, and NoSQL.
  • Agile Software Development Experience: You must have experience in an agile software development environment.
  • High Throughput/Low Latency APIs: You must have experience developing high throughput/low latency APIs.
