Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Description:

Overview

As a Content Acquisition Director at CC Staffing International, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing value-added services (VAS) and Direct Carrier Billing (DCB) content partnerships in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. You will focus on building relationships with content providers, managing the end-to-end content acquisition process, and ensuring a robust and diverse portfolio that meets market demands and operator requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Sourcing and Acquisition
  1. Identify and source relevant content providers for VAS and DCB aggregation across entertainment, gaming, music, lifestyle, and other verticals in the MEA region.
  2. Negotiate terms with content providers to ensure favorable deals that align with company goals and revenue targets.
  3. Maintain a diverse content portfolio that supports both user acquisition and retention strategies.
Partnership Development
  1. Build and nurture long-term relationships with content providers, ensuring continuous access to new and high-quality content.
  2. Collaborate partners to understand their needs and secure content that meets market demand.
Market Research and Analysis
  1. Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging content providers in the VAS and DCB sectors.
  2. Conduct regular performance analysis of acquired content to evaluate its impact on revenue and user engagement.
Contract Negotiation and Compliance
  1. Lead negotiations on contract terms, ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory frameworks.
  2. Manage contract execution and ensure all stakeholders meet their obligations.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, media, or a related field.
  2. 10+ years of experience in content acquisition, business development, or partnerships in VAS, DCB, or telecommunications.
  3. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  4. Deep understanding of the VAS and DCB markets, especially in the MEA region.
  5. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with content providers and operators.
