    Responsibilities

    1. 3D Modeling and Texturing:

  • Create high-quality 3D models and textures for characters, environments, and objects, aligning them with the artistic vision and technical requirements of the game.
  • Optimize models for real-time rendering, considering both performance and visual fidelity.

  • 2. Animation (if applicable):

  • Produce character animations that enhance gameplay, including rigging and skinning characters.
  • Implement animations in collaboration with team members to ensure seamless integration.

  • 3. Level Design Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with level designers to create visually appealing and functional game environments.
  • Integrate 3D assets into game engines, such as Unity or Unreal, ensuring they meet technical specifications.

  • 4. Concept Art Interpretation:

  • Interpret and bring 2D concept art to life in three-dimensional game assets, maintaining consistency with the established art style.

  • 5. Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough reviews and optimizations to ensure all 3D assets meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and artistic integrity.
  • Collaborate with team members to address and resolve issues related to 3D assets during testing phases.

  • Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a 3D Game Artist or in a similar role in the gaming industry.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing software (e.g., Autodesk Maya, Blender, Substance Painter).
  • Strong understanding of game development pipelines.
  • Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Openness to new experiences and the ability to learn new skills and information to improve performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, rigging, and skinning is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in a 3D based field, Computer Graphics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Impressive portfolio showcasing a range of 3D game art projects.
  • Previous experience working on published games is a plus.
