SOC Analyst will support the bank's efforts to maintain a secure information technology environment. He/she will assist in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents and threats to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the bank's digital assets.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security alerts, logs, and events to detect potential security incidents.
  • Participate in analyzing security alerts to determine the nature and potential impact of incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and execute incident response actions.
  • Participate in incident investigation, analysis, and documentation of findings.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of security policies and procedures.
  • Participate in conducting security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify risks.
  • Stay informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and industry best practices.
  • Participate in the generation of security reports and metrics for management and stakeholders.
  • Participate in the delivery of security awareness training to promote a culture of security awareness.
  • Participate in security projects aimed at improving the organization's security posture.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 2 years’ experience in IT security roles or related areas.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, concepts, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies used in incident response.
  • Relevant security certifications such as CompTIA Security+ are advantageous.
