To provide ongoing Psychosocial Services’ requirements, including receiving clients at office, documentation, and giving clients the needed support and counselling.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conducts a comprehensive psychosocial assessment to identify clients’ (cases) needs and needed services.
  • Develops an intervention plan to achieve clients’ needs and service objectives.
  • Provides individual and group psychosocial support and counseling for clients (cases).
  • Conducting home visits to cases, schools or other parties as may be required and in accordance with approved work procedures.
  • Refers the case to individuals or entities concerned with providing services to them and follow up the case on the services referred to them in coordination with the relevant departments within the program.
  • Reviews and evaluates the intervention process with each case and makes the necessary adjustments to the intervention plan as needed.
  • Follow up and keeping the database of information and details of all cases and procedures updated periodically.
  • Receiving calls on helpline 110 for families and children when needed and providing service according to the procedures.
  • Maintains the confidentiality and privacy of the information accessed.
  • Prepares monthly and annual reports related to the post and submit them to the direct manager.
  • Documents all procedures of the case, follow up, documents all files, records, and reports related to the job and updates them continuously.
  • Compliances with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Carry out any tasks or responsibilities assigned by the direct manager within the scope of work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree as a minimum in psychology or counseling or any related field.
  • Strong English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken)
  • At least 1 year of practical experience in providing psychological and social services to children or women in the context of violence, abuse or difficult circumstances.
  • 3-5 Years of experience.
  • Professional writing in excellent Arabic and English.
  • Ability to work under pressures and challenges of work.
  • knowing computer programs.
  • Precision and organization at work.
