To follow inpatients in Azraq camp hospital (including COVID-19 cases) and set the plan of treatment for the GPs to follow.
Monitoring patients' conditions and progress, and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary.
To assess and treat referred patients by reviewing and understanding their medical backgrounds and examining them to assess their current condition and health.
Request, perform, interpret, and analyze Lab tests (rationally) to diagnose patients' conditions. Perform a patient physical examination. Analyze test data or images to inform diagnosis or treatment.
Assess and examine patients to establish if a surgical procedure needed, and prioritize procedures capacity inside the camp vs referrals to outside the camp.
Council patients and their families about disease, prognosis and manage expectations.
refer patients to other medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary
Preparing official health documents or records, when necessary.
provide ongoing support and advice to patients under long-term care
work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating and liaising closely with colleagues including referral doctor, ER doctors, GPs and surgeons.
