JOB TITLE:  IT Coordinator

CHILD SAFEGUARDING: Level 3 - the responsibilities of the post may require the post holder to have regular contact with or access to children or young people

 




ROLE PURPOSE:

Monitoring and maintenance of computer systems and network in Jordan Country Office.




SCOPE OF ROLE:

Reports to: Finance and Operations Director

 




KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

Support the delivery of effective Programmes, in both development and humanitarian contexts, by:


Install and configure computers’ desktop, Servers, hardware/software faults and provide technical support for end users.
Troubleshooting and provide network, application systems and services (such as and not limited to Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and DHCP servers) with the required support.
Office365 accounts set up and configuration management for new and current users accounts.
Ensure and monitor virus protection is installed and updated for all save the children personal computers via security server console
Test and evaluate new technology application systems and settings, including provide a status report to his/her supervisor.
Maintain inventory of computers and accessories, and provide the Supply Chain team with the recommended ICT items specification.
Provide data recovery, backup and restore procedures for save the children files and emails, including available systems’ databases. 
Track licenses and maintenance agreements.
Ensure compliance with Save the Children International standards related to Information technology.
Technical and Supply Chain preparation support for indoor/outdoor meetings and events’ presentations

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:


Education: Bachelor Degree in computer science
Experience: 3 years in related field
Excellent computer software usage skills
Technical knowledge of hardware installation and maintenance
Network installation
Capacity building
Excellent command of Arabic spoken and written and good command of English
Good communication skills
CISCO certificate is Plus
MCSE/MCITP Certificate is Plus
